The Full Story
Our meat comes from two main sources James Kittow @ Kilhallon Farm in Par & MC Kelly on the edge of
Dartmoor - they provide us with amazing Cornish Ruby Red Beef, Smoked Bacon Handmade Sausages & our
West Country Chicken & Pork.
Our Fish supplied by Celtic Fish & Game & Harvester Seafood is always from British waters and where possible
Cornish - (just off the coasts of Mevagissey & Newlyn) we look for sustainable species in plentiful supply.
Dairy products Milk, Butter & Double Cream are from Trewithen Dairy just up the road in the Glynn Valley &
is used to make our own ice cream, all desserts, biscuits & pastry.
Cheeses from across the county.
Eggs from St Ewe always free range where possible.
Our Chutneys, Marmalades, Pastes / Cooking sauces are made on site, along with our Bread using Organic
We are always looking to use local suppliers & ingredients across the board on our food & drinks menus.
Making all we can on site to assure the best quality food is available all year round.
We are still a young business, having opened the doors to our unique little restaurant on the 26th July 2021.
We'd love to make Restormel Kitchen a brand & offer a little more than just the food & drink on site.
With this in mind we have our own branded range of Teas & Coffee that are available to take away if you've enjoyed them at the end of your meal.
Also we have Cook's Pilsner coming soon!
Red Rock Brewery in Devon has designed our easy drinking pilsner & has showcased Lostwithiel on our own custom label!
